Baptist Health operates six hospitals and numerous clinics, including Baptist MD Anderson Cancer Center, Baptist Heart Hospital, Baptist Neurological Institute, and Wolfson Children's Hospital.

Responsibilities

• Manage fixed assets and work-in-progress updates
• Review and process capital requisitions
• Ensure monthly closing schedules are met
• Prepare and post journal entries
• Reconcile accounts payable and materials
• Compile monthly statistical and sales tax reports
• Support audit preparation and reporting related to property, plant, and equipment
• Work closely with the Finance and Accounting team to provide financial data

Requirements

• Over 5 years of accounting experience
• Reporting experience
• Bachelor of Science degree (non-Nursing)

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience with general ledger systems
