Company Description Our client is a contract manufacturer specializing in the design and manufacture of coatings for the electronic, medical, and pharmaceutical industries. Key Responsibilities Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements; reconcile accounts; support close processes.General Ledger Management: Maintain GL accuracy, post journal entries, and ensure proper coding aligned with company policy.Cost Accounting: Track production costs, analyze variances, and support inventory valuation for manufacturing workflows.Accounts Payable & Receivable: Process invoices, monitor aging, ensure timely collections, and maintain vendor compliance.Budget Support: Assist with annual budgeting, forecasting cycles, and departmental spend analysis.Audit & Compliance: Support internal and external audits; maintain documentation; ensure adherence to GAAP and company policies.Process Improvement: Identify efficiency opportunities, streamline workflows, and enhance reporting accuracy.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with operations, procurement, HR, and leadership to ensure financial clarity and support decision-making. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, or Finance.7-10+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing or production environments.Strong understanding of GAAP, internal controls, and cost accounting principles.Proficiency with ERP systems such as SAP, NetSuite, or similar, along with advanced Excel skills.Ability to analyze complex data, communicate clearly, and maintain accuracy under deadlines.Demonstrated integrity, confidentiality, and commitment to high-quality financial work. Preferred Qualifications Experience in polymer, chemical, or industrial manufacturing environments.Knowledge of inventory accounting, standard costing, and production workflows.Familiarity with Lean or continuous improvement methodologies.Strong interpersonal skills and comfort working with cross-functional teams.Demonstrated leadership potential and interest in long-term career progression, with the capability to grow into a senior financial leadership role such as VP of Finance within 5-7 years.
