Senior Accountant
Support month-end close activities by preparing and reviewing journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reporting.
Identify and implement process improvements that enhance accounting accuracy, efficiency, and consistency across business operations.
Partner with cross-functional teams to support financial reporting requirements, including depreciation schedules and other accounting initiatives.
Review financial documentation, strengthen reporting processes, and maintain compliance with internal controls and accounting standards.
Assist with special projects and provide support for internal and external audit activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field; CPA certification is preferred.
- Five or more years of accounting experience with strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP; public accounting experience is a plus.
- Experience with SAP or other enterprise general ledger systems, along with advanced analytical and research skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments and document processes effectively.
- Strong organizational, project coordination, and time management skills with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to balance strategic and operational priorities.
Pay
$50-$75/hr. (DOE)
Schedule
Hybrid model in Sherwood, Oregon
