Duties and Responsibilities
- Build strong business partnerships with the CTR Leadership Team and provide financial insights and decision support.
- Maintain and strengthen internal accounting controls and compliance procedures.
- Maintain and reconcile inventory balances and monitor inventory transactions.
- Analyze manufacturing costs, labor variances, material usage, and production efficiencies.
- Support the job costing system to ensure accurate project and production costing.
- Support and help lead new ERP implementation efforts in coordination with the controller and accounting team.
- Review financial data and trends for accuracy, reasonableness, and completeness; investigate unusual variances and transactions.
- Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial analyses.
- Ensure accuracy of intercompany reconciliations and support issue resolution.
- Perform quality and compliance reviews of accounting transactions and reconciliations.
- Identify opportunities to improve and automate accounting systems and reporting processes.
- Absorb and assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
- Collaborate with plant operations leadership to improve cost controls and operational performance.
- Perform additional ad hoc duties and special projects as assigned.
Competencies
- Strong understanding of GAAP, cost accounting, and inventory accounting principles.
- Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting software.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

- Good working knowledge of an ERP environment and how transactions interact.

Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Experience in manufacturing, fabrication, industrial services, or project-based accounting environments.
- CPA or CMA certification preferred.
- Experience with ERP implementations.
- Knowledge of job costing, standard costing, and intercompany accounting processes.
- Experience supporting audits and tax preparation activities.
