Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage various accounting workstreams within the company, including payroll and business unit financial reporting.
- Review and approve transactions, preparing necessary journal entries for various areas, ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting principles (US GAAP).
- Conduct monthly reconciliations of payroll and other balance sheet activity.
- Prepare financial statement footnotes and respond to internal and external audit inquiries.
- Contribute to budget preparation and support financial forecasting activities.
- Provide timely assistance to external auditors during interim and annual audits with assigned areas of responsibility.
- Provide financial analysis and reports to management to support decision-making.
- Aid with ad-hoc financial projects and tasks as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field with 3-5 years of related work experience.
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP accounting and application.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Microsoft Excel).
- Familiarity with large-scale ERP systems such as SAP.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- CPA designation (preferred but not required).
