About the role
This role is centered on heavy financial reporting, including trial balance preparation, system-to-system mapping, consolidations, and full financial package creation (balance sheet, P&L, roll forwards, schedules, and variance explanations).
Responsibilities
- Prepare and map trial balances across multiple systems and support monthly consolidations into full financial statements.
- Build and maintain financial reporting packages, including balance sheet/P&L, roll forwards, and monthly fluctuation analysis.
- Manage fixed asset accounting, including additions, disposals, depreciation schedules, and CIP tracking.
- Maintain prepaid insurance and other prepaid schedules.
- Review monthly lease analyses and assist with required accounting updates.
- Process and review employee expense reports.
- Complete bank reconciliations for seven accounts and investigate variances.
- Support manufacturing accounting, including inventory-related reconciliations and project-related accounting.
- Assist with audit requests, documentation, and internal control support.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong background in financial reporting, consolidations, and general ledger accounting.
- Experience with fixed assets, prepaids, leases, bank reconciliations, and manufacturing accounting.
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, vlookups).
- Experience with D365 or another large ERP strongly preferred.
- Audit support, project accounting, or construction-in-progress accounting experience is a plus.
Pay
$50 – $53 per hour. Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other job-related qualifications.
