About the role
Rosendin Electric is seeking a Senior Accountant to join the General Accounting team. This role offers support in various accounting functions, preparing reports, and assisting with audits.
Responsibilities
- Manage the month and year end close process including general journal entries, accruals, account analysis and reconciliation.
- Aid in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting for management.
- Prepare and upload various journal entries daily and ensure all transactions are accurate and timely.
- Conduct monthly variance analysis of corporate overhead expenditures against budget, solve discrepancies, and report findings to management.
- Train and mentor junior level finance staff and review their work for accuracy.
- Review monthly accounting close processes and conduct analytical reviews of operating results to maintain accurate accounting records.
- Support various aspects of external audits, including preparing audit schedules and reviewing outstanding items lists.
- Provide ad hoc support to Finance management as needed.
Requirements
- Proficient understanding of accounting processes and principles.
- Experience with a large ERP system preferred.
- Effective analytical skills.
- Proficiency in using a computer and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.), Oracle preferred.
- Prioritize and manage multiple tasks, adapting to changing priorities.
- Work under pressure and adapt to changing requirements with a positive attitude.
- Oral and written communication skills as required for the position.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and an effective team player.
- Interact effectively and professionally with all levels of employees, both management and staff alike, vendors, clients, and others.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or Business-related.
- 5+ years’ experience in finance or accounting.
- Combination of education, training, and relevant experience.
Skills
- Proficient understanding of accounting processes and principles.

Pay
The pay range for this role is $97,600.00 - $128,100.00 annually. Candidate's pay can vary based on location, job-related experience, skills, and education.
