Senior Accountant

Job Summary

Responsible for managing financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Collaborates with other departments to provide financial insights and support business decisions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Oversee the preparation of tax returns and ensure timely submission to relevant authorities.
• Review and audit financial transactions to ensure accuracy and adherence to internal controls and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with management to develop and implement cost-saving measures and improve financial processes.
• Provide financial analysis and advice to support strategic planning and decision-making.
• Manage relationships with external auditors and assist in the preparation of audit documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• CPA certification preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting or finance.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Experience in public accounting or industry-specific accounting is a plus.
• Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
