This role is responsible for maintaining accurate and timely financial records, including accounts payable, inventory control, project costing, and fixed assets. The ideal candidate is eager to learn new systems, collaborate with teams to develop and streamline processes, and bring strong organizational, problem-solving, Excel, and Power BI skills. As part of the team, this person will meet schedules and deadlines to ensure financial information is reported accurately and on time. Prepare monthly journal entries and account reconciliationsAssist with month-end, quarter end, and year end close processesMaintain fixed asset records and depreciation schedules Assist with annual auditIdentify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracyUpdate and maintain accounting journals, ledger, and other records dealing with finance business transactionsReconcile records with internal employees, management, and vendorsSupport A/P processing All other duties as assigned Education And Experience Requirements Bachelor’s degree in accounting requiredCPA or MBA preferredMinimum of 4 years of progressive accounting experience requiredPublic accounting experience desired but not required Desired Skills Proven ability to prioritize work in a fast-paced environmentSelf-starter with the ability to work independently and identify solutionsStrong understanding of financial metrics, ratios, statements, and other measuresExperience in project management and driving process improvementAbility to adapt to changes in processes, procedures and prioritiesExcellent communication and relationship building skills with an ability to effectively communicate, prioritize, and work with a variety of internal and external stakeholders. Experience in accounting ERP systems (NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, etc.)Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)Strong attention-to-detail, organizational skills, time management skills, and proven ability to meet deadlines with thorough follow throughActs with integrity, including handling confidential and sensitive information Physical Requirements The successful candidate will be able to perform the following with or without reasonable accommodation: Long periods of sittingAbility to lift 10 poundsSome travel required; 10% ability to travel via commercial air/driving Compensation & Benefits: The salary range for this position is: $74,000 – $111,000 annually Actual base pay for this job will depend on the candidate's primary work location and other factors , such as relevant skills and experience. Final pay will be determined based on the candidate’s skills, experience, and alignment with our internal equity standards, ensuring fairness and consistency across the organization. The salary banding for this role also allows room for growth, with opportunities for pay increases within the band based on performance and contributions.
