Senior Accountant
About the role
Responsible for managing financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support business decisions.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Oversee the preparation of tax returns and ensure timely submission to relevant authorities.
- Monitor and reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Collaborate with internal teams to review and approve transactions, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures.
- Manage the budgeting process, including forecasting and variance analysis.
- Provide guidance and training to less experienced staff members.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
- CPA certification preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office.
Qualifications
- Experience with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
