Senior Accountant

NextStep Recruiting is partnering with a client in Dallas, TX to find a Senior Accountant to join their team on a direct-hire basis.

Responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries, maintain the general ledger, and perform bank and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Support project accounting, including capitalization of project costs and recording capital activity such as capital calls, distributions, and transfers.
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting, audit support, and coordination with auditors and the tax team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 3+ years of accounting experience.
• Strong Excel skills; experience with NetSuite preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a detail-oriented environment.
