About The Role
As a Senior Accountant at Mytra, you will join our Finance team during a period of growth and transformation. Our team is currently focused on building scalable financial operations to support rapid company expansion, and we need a proactive, detail-oriented professional to help us establish reliable accounting processes, ensure payroll accuracy, and strengthen our financial foundation as we scale.
What You’ll Do
- Own end-to-end payroll processing using Rippling, ensuring accurate and timely disbursements for all employees across pay cycles
- Manage accounts payable operations: reviewing, coding, and processing invoices while maintaining vendor relationships and payment schedules
- Support month-end close activities including journal entries, account reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance in NetSuite
- Work cross-functionally with HR, Operations, and other functional department leads to implement and improve accounting processes as the company grows
- Monitor and reconcile company spend using Ramp, flagging discrepancies and ensuring expenses are properly categorized and approved
Nice To Have
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification or active pursuit, demonstrating a commitment to professional growth in accounting
- Experience helping build or formalize accounting processes from the ground up in an early-stage or high-growth company
- Familiarity with California wage & hour regulations and payroll compliance requirements
- Experience working with Rippling, ADP or similar HRIS system
