About the role
This is a highly visible role with direct exposure to senior leadership and the opportunity to help build the accounting and financial infrastructure of a fast-growing healthtech company from the ground up. This role is ideal for someone who wants to go beyond traditional accounting and play a key role in shaping financial operations, supporting real-time decision making, and helping drive profitability across a complex, high-volume business.
Key Responsibilities
- Own day-to-day accounting operations for MediDrive, including journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close
- Manage billing and revenue tracking across multiple healthcare contracts and clients
- Ensure proper classification and allocation of expenses in alignment with contribution margin and operational reporting
- Aid in payroll accounting and integration with ADP
- Manage credit card and vendor expense tracking to ensure clean and accurate reporting
- Partner closely with operations and leadership to understand business drivers and ensure financial data reflects reality
- Support the building of scalable accounting processes and internal controls as the business grows
- Prepare financial statements and reporting packages
Qualifications
- 3–6+ years of accounting experience (public accounting or industry)
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA a plus)
- Experience with Sage or similar ERP systems preferred
- Strong understanding of accrual accounting and financial reporting
- Experience in a high-growth, startup, healthcare, or transportation environment is a plus
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- High attention to detail with a strong sense of ownership
