About the role
Magnite (NASDAQ: MGNI) is the world’s largest independent sell-side advertising platform. This role supports accounting and finance by planning, preparing, and reviewing day-to-day accounting tasks, account analysis, and month-end closing activities, with the goal of producing accurate financial statements while adhering to appropriate internal controls and meeting deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Support accounting and finance by performing day-to-day accounting tasks, account analysis, and month-end closing activities, with the goal of producing accurate financial statements while adhering to appropriate internal controls and meeting deadlines.
- Prepare and review balance sheet account reconciliations.
- Review monthly bank statement reconciliations and maintain Cash Management sub-ledger for domestic accounts which includes multi-currency accounts and foreign exchange transactions.
- Review and maintain Fixed Assets sub-ledger accounting, including monthly FA additions, retirements, running/booking depreciation expense, and reconciliation to the GL.
- Prepare monthly balance sheet and income statement flux analysis.
- Audit and maintain the Prepaid expense account and rollforward schedules.
- Maintain adequate internal controls within the accounting processes to ensure well-documented, accurate, and timely financial reporting.
- Assist with Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) narratives, and RCM documentation, preparation of schedules for auditors.
- Support FP&A and Financial Reporting with budget vs. actuals as well as disclosures necessary for SEC filings.
- Perform ad hoc reviews and analysis, as needed.
- Provide backup and support for Accounting Supervisor and Accounting Manager, as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance or Business, with minimum of 4 years of experience in General Ledger accounting, or 3 years of public accounting experience.
- CPA preferred.
- Highly detail and deadline-oriented with the ability to prioritize, focus, and thrive in a high-paced multi-tasking environment.
- Strong verbal and written skills along with good interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Strong Excel skills required.
- Motivated to learn and work hard.
- Public company experience and knowledge of internal controls preferred.
- Oracle experience or experience with large ERP systems preferred.
- Experience in the technology industry a plus.

Pay
The base salary range for this position is: $95,000 - $105,000 in addition to an annual variable bonus based on performance and company equity (NASDAQ: MGNI).
