About the Role

This is a great opportunity for someone coming from a Big 4 or Top 10 public accounting background who is ready to take on more ownership and have a direct impact on how an accounting organization operates. The Senior Accountant will work closely with the Controller and cross-functional teams to strengthen accounting processes, improve reporting, and help transition certain functions from outside providers to an internal accounting team.

Responsibilities

• Play an important role in helping build out the accounting function as the company continues to grow.
• Work closely with the Controller and cross-functional teams to strengthen accounting processes, improve reporting, and help transition certain functions from outside providers to an internal accounting team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Active CPA required.
• 3–5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Previous experience with a Big 4 or nationally recognized Top 10 public accounting firm.
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and technical accounting principles.
• Experience with ASC 606 (Revenue Recognition) and ASC 842 (Leases).
• Experience with complex month-end close responsibilities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and ability to work effectively across departments.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
• Someone who enjoys improving and building processes rather than simply maintaining the status quo.
