About the role
Our growing organization is seeking a Senior Accountant to lead the accounting and finance function while partnering closely with executive leadership to improve profitability, strengthen financial processes, and provide meaningful business insights. This is a highly visible leadership position responsible for overseeing all accounting operations, financial reporting, cash flow management, KPI development, internal controls, pricing analysis, and continuous process improvement.

Responsibilities
- Lead all accounting operations and supervise the accounting team
- Prepare timely and accurate monthly financial statements
- Oversee month-end and year-end close processes
- Maintain compliance with GAAP and internal accounting controls
- Manage general ledger activities, journal entries, and account reconciliations
- Develop financial reports, dashboards, and KPIs for executive leadership
- Analyze profitability, margins, pricing, and operating performance
- Monitor company cash flow and working capital
- Oversee Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, payroll, and employee benefits administration
- Partner with operations, quality, warehouse, and leadership teams to improve financial performance
- Support inventory reporting and financial system accuracy
- Develop and improve accounting policies, procedures, and financial processes
- Assist leadership with budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning
- Provide financial recommendations that improve business performance and long-term profitability
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 5+ years of progressive accounting leadership experience
- Strong knowledge of GAAP
- Experience leading month-end close and financial reporting
- Experience managing accounting staff
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- ERP system experience
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
- Ability to work cross-functionally with operations and executive leadership

Pay
$85,000 - $105,000 per year
