Responsibilities
- Lead monthly financial close including preparing and reviewing complex Journal Entries and Accruals.
- Perform account reconciliation for general ledger, bank statements, and financial statement reconciliations on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
- Prepare financial statements, consolidated reports, and flux analysis monthly for all line items in the ledger.
- Maintain adherence to US GAAP, document internal controls, and organize schedules and documentation for external auditors.
- Mentor and review work for staff accountants, serving as a technical resource for day-to-day accounting challenges.
- Provide ad-hoc accounting support to the field organization.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics (CPA Preferred).
- 3 to 5+ years of progressive corporate accounting experience or equivalent public experience.
- Strong, current expertise in US GAAP accounting and SEC reporting rules and regulations.
- Exceptional communication skills, ability to work in a team, and coachable mindset.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and manage competing priorities in a high-volume environment.
- Excellent customer-facing experience and strong communication skills.
- Skilled and proficient with Microsoft Excel; experience in Epicor Profit21 and/or QuickBooks is a plus.
- Ability to work in an ambiguous environment.
- Must be able to fluently read, write, and speak English.
