Senior Accountant

About the role

We're seeking a Senior Accountant to take ownership of complex accounting functions, financial analysis, and month-end close. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys being a key contributor to financial accuracy and operational decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end and year-end close processes
• Prepare advanced journal entries, reconciliations, and financial schedules
• Analyze financial results and provide variance explanations
• Oversee fixed assets, depreciation, and capital project tracking
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow analysis
• Review AP/AR activity for accuracy and compliance
• Auxiliary with internal and external audits
• Mentor junior accounting staff and support process improvements

Requirements

• Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance
• 4–7 years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong GAAP knowledge
• Advanced Excel skills and ERP experience (SAP, NetSuite, JD Edwards, etc.)
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to work independently
