Key Responsibilities
- Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations, bank reconciliations, and general ledger analysis
- Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and maintain accurate financial reporting
- Analyze revenue, commissions, expenses, and financial transactions
- Research and resolve accounting discrepancies while partnering with internal departments
- Prepare audit schedules and supporting documentation for external auditors
- Auxiliary financial reporting, ad hoc analysis, and special projects
- Sustain internal controls, accounting policy enhancements, and process improvements
- Partner with leadership on automation initiatives and Workday process optimization
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience
- Experience with journal entries, account reconciliations, financial reporting, and month-end close
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required
- Exposure to automation, AI tools, or process improvement initiatives required
