Key Responsibilities
- Manage all sales & use tax activities, including rate assignment, filings, reconciliations, and vendor coordination
- Serve as the primary sales tax contact for internal customer service inquiries
- Prepare month-end general ledger reconciliations and related journal entries
- Maintain fixed asset records and depreciation schedules
- Complete annual property tax filings and support related audits
- Prepare audit schedules, reconciliations, and analyses for financial statement and compliance audits
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience
- Required hands-on multi-state sales & use tax experience
- Strong working knowledge of GAAP
- Proficiency with ERP systems, tax software, and Microsoft Office
