Senior Accountant

Job Responsibilities

• Manage cost accounting activities by maintaining accurate inventory, fixed asset, and cost related financial records.
• Support month end close processes through preparation of journal entries, reconciliations, and financial analyses.
• Review cost trends and investigate variances to improve financial visibility and operational performance.
• Assist with inventory valuation, product costing, and related system activities within the accounting environment.
• Support internal controls, audit requirements, tax reporting, and compliance with accounting standards.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of cost accounting experience in a corporate or public accounting environment.
• Strong understanding of inventory accounting, cost analysis, and financial reporting principles.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience working with ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to identify and explain cost variances.
• Previous experience working in medium to large organizational environments.
• Knowledge of fixed asset accounting, capital expenditure tracking, and inventory management.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across accounting, operations, and audit teams.

Expected starting base salary of $100,000 to $128,000 per year. REF #52600 #Ind-SFV
