About the role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our growing Finance team. In this role, you will play a key part in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our financial records, supporting month-end and year-end close processes, and delivering meaningful financial reporting that helps drive business decisions.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, reclassifications, and other accounting transactions.
- Maintain the integrity of the general ledger through timely account reconciliations and financial reviews.
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring deadlines are met and financial results are accurate.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, reporting packages, and variance analyses.
- Investigate discrepancies, identify trends, and recommend solutions to improve financial accuracy and reporting.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, accounting standards, company policies, and internal controls.
- Prepare audit schedules and supporting documentation for external audits and compliance reviews.
- Support the maintenance and enhancement of accounting processes, controls, and documentation.
- Utilize NetSuite and other financial systems to maintain accurate financial data and reporting integrity.
- Identify opportunities to improve workflows, automate processes, and increase efficiency within the accounting function.
- Partner with Operations, People Operations, and other business stakeholders to resolve accounting issues and support strategic initiatives.
- Aid with budgeting support, financial analysis, ad hoc reporting, and special projects as needed.
Requirements
- Hold a CPA designation or be actively pursuing CPA certification.
- Have 4–7 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Possess a strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, account reconciliations, accruals, and internal controls.
- Have hands-on experience supporting month-end and year-end close processes.
- Be comfortable working in ERP/accounting systems, with NetSuite experience strongly preferred.
- Have strong Excel skills and enjoy working with financial data to identify trends and solve problems.
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment and can manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high degree of accuracy.
- Have experience supporting audits and preparing audit schedules.
- Bring a continuous improvement mindset and enjoy finding ways to make processes more efficient and scalable.
- Communicate effectively with both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
- Enjoy collaborating across departments and building strong working relationships.
- Have experience in a multi-entity, multi-location, healthcare, clinical research, professional services, or other project-based service environment (preferred).
- Be curious about technology and interested in leveraging automation and AI tools to improve accounting processes and reporting.
- Have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Compensation is commensurate with experience.
