Senior Accountant

Accountant - Boston, MAOur client, a growing professional services organization, is seeking an Accountant on an interim basis to support their finance team. This open-ended contract offers a hybrid schedule with 2-3 days onsite per week and the potential to convert to a permanent role in the future.Responsibilities:Process and reconcile accounts payable and receivable transactions.Record journal entries and assist with general ledger maintenance.Reconcile bank statements and support monthly and quarterly close.Prepare and review financial reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets.Support financial reporting and other ad hoc accounting tasks as needed.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.5+ years of accounting experience, including GL, reconciliations, and financial reporting.Strong Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs).Experience with QuickBooks is a plus.
