Location: Monticello, IN Salary: $85,000.00 USD Annually - $100,000.00 USD Annually Description: Our client is currently seeking a Senior Accountant for their Manufacturing Operations located near Monticello IN. This is a growing company with a solid business model & customer base that is making leaps forward & will continue to do so in the coming years. They are seeking a career oriented professional who is hungary to learn, develop and grow into an executive for the company (VP of Finance) in under 10 years. This is a fully onsite position working with the organizational leadership. The company is doing very well finanically and needs a partner to grow with them. Maintain GL accuracy, post journal entries, and ensure proper coding aligned with company policy. Track production costs, analyze variances, and support inventory valuation for polymer manufacturing workflows. Process invoices, monitor aging, ensure timely collections, and maintain vendor compliance. Assist in annual budgeting, forecasting cycles, and departmental spend analysis. Support internal and external audits; maintain documentation; ensure adherence to GAAP and company policies. Qualifications & Requirements Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Business, or Finance. 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing Strong understanding of GAAP, internal controls, and cost accounting principles. Proficiency with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills. Demonstrated integrity, confidentiality, and commitment to high‑quality financial work Knowledge of inventory accounting, standard costing, and production workflows.Demonstrated leadership potential.
