About the role
The Senior Account Manager is responsible for customer relations and interactions to meet annual revenue goals, including managing existing accounts and prospecting for new ones within a designated geographic territory or named accounts.
Responsibilities
- Sell the company’s services to customers within a specific geographic territory and/or named accounts
- Maintain and expand services sold to existing accounts
- Prospect and cold call new accounts to expand the customer base
- Analyze sales statistics and prepare reports and forecasts
- Demonstrate services and participate in trade shows and conferences
- Develop and execute relevant and timely action plans
- Prepare and review estimates before sending them to customers
- Build customer relationships by attending functions during and after regular working hours
- Adhere to Conco’s Safety Policies & Procedure Manual
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred; High School Diploma required
- 3 years of outside sales experience or equivalent combination of experience and training
- Must be authorized to work within the United States
- Strong customer service and communication skills (oral and written)
- Ability to identify new markets and customers based on Conco’s service offerings
- Ability to travel throughout the country, including overnight stays and occasional weekends
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Detail-oriented, results-driven, and outgoing with a willingness to engage customers on diverse topics
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment with urgency and accuracy
- Ability to present product and service information effectively
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, and move for extended periods (8+ hours per day)
- Frequent bending, kneeling, crouching, and reaching in various work environments
- Willingness to undergo periodic drug, background, and clearance screenings (employment contingent upon favorable results)
- Ability to work in outdoor and indoor environments, including extreme weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, etc.)
- Dependable transportation and willingness to visit customer facilities
Work Environment
The role involves working in remote or industrial locations such as oil rigs, refineries, power plants, manufacturing facilities, or industrial plants. Employees may be exposed to:
- Loud noise and heavy machinery
- Hazardous materials and high-pressure equipment
- Confined spaces and extreme temperatures
- Rotational schedules and extended shifts
- Outdoor conditions, including rain, heat, and cold
Safety is a top priority, with rigorous training protocols and provided PPE (e.g., hard hats, gloves, high-visibility clothing). Travel between job sites is required.
