Senior Account Manager - Hyperscale Data Center
About the role
Delta, founded in 1971, is a global leader in switching power supplies and thermal management products. It serves customers through its sales offices, R&D centers, and manufacturing facilities spread over close to 200 locations across five continents.
Key Responsibilities
Own and manage strategic Hyperscale and large enterprise accounts, serving as the primary point of contact for all commercial and account-related activities.
Develop and execute account strategies and growth plans to meet or exceed annual revenue, margin, and booking targets.
Drive new business opportunities within existing accounts by identifying expansion, upgrade, and long-term power infrastructure needs.
Secure new customer programs by positioning value-added power distribution solutions that differentiate from competitors and align with customer technical and operational requirements.
Build and maintain strong relationships with executive-level, technical, and procurement stakeholders within customer organizations.
Collaborate with internal teams to deliver end-to-end solutions, including proposal development, pricing strategy, contract negotiation, and program execution.
Lead customer-facing presentations and proposals that clearly articulate technical value, commercial benefits, and total cost of ownership advantages.
Track account performance, pipeline, and forecasts using CRM tools, ensuring accuracy and visibility for leadership.
Support customer satisfaction and retention by proactively addressing issues, managing escalations, and aligning service and support resources.
Stay current on industry trends, Hyperscale data center architectures, and power distribution technologies to act as a trusted advisor to customers.
Minimum Qualifications
5–8 years of experience in account management, sales, or business development within power distribution, electrical infrastructure, or data center solutions.
Proven experience managing large, complex, or strategic accounts, preferably within Hyperscale, cloud, or colocation environments.
Strong understanding of data center power distribution systems, electrical infrastructure, or mission-critical facilities.
Demonstrated ability to deliver custom, value-based solutions aligned with customer business and technical needs.
Bachelor’s degree required (Engineering, Business, or related field preferred).
Experience working cross-functionally with engineering, operations, and supply chain teams.
Strong financial and commercial acumen, including pricing, margin management, and contract negotiations.
Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all organizational levels.
Strong planning, organizational, and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing customer and market conditions.
Willingness to travel up to 40–50% as required to support customer engagement.
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with long sales cycles, program-based business, and global customer environments.
Ability to interpret strategic direction and translate it into executable account-level objectives.
Self-motivated, customer-focused, and results-driven with a strong sense of ownership.
Pay Range
Starting from USD $200,000.00/Yr.

The base salary range for this full-time position is $158,000.00 - $185,000.00 per year. Actual pay will depend on factors such as location, skills, experience, market conditions, and business needs. This role may also be eligible for incentive pay, subject to the terms of the applicable plan.
