Responsibilities
- Review and analyze commercial accounts for coverage, limits, etc., and make appropriate recommendations to clients.
- Acquire understanding of clients' insurance objectives and critically analyze and compare insurance plans to determine suitability.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients to ensure all service needs are met.
- Stay abreast of changes in the insurance industry and other external conditions that may impact their clients, making appropriate recommendations independently of manager approval.
- Act as liaison between clients and insurance carriers to resolve service issues, including troubleshooting claims and billing issues.
- Develop new business from existing accounts and assigned leads, contributing to meeting departmental production goals.
- Gather information from clients and prepare applications for submission to the Marketing Department regarding new and/or renewal coverage.
- Prepare client proposals based on client's needs, rates, and coverages.
- Prepare all transactions for assigned accounts, including applications, certificates of insurance, invoices, forms.
- Appropriately document conversations with clients and carrier representatives and update all HUB computer systems and automated agency management systems.
- Maintain the accuracy of data in the agency management system.
- May handle collections of premiums due.
- Conduct business in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of both the business and earnings implications of the Company.
Qualifications
- Seven years of commercial lines insurance experience.
- Thorough knowledge of commercial lines coverages and markets.
- Property and Casualty Insurance license.
- Advanced professional designation highly desirable (e.g., ARM, CIC, CPCU).
- High School diploma or equivalent; AA and/or college degree preferred.
- Excellent oral and written communications skills.
- Superior customer service and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated proficiency with computer systems, including but not limited to Microsoft Office and automated agency management systems.
- Mastery of virtual technology, including meeting scheduling, video display, and screen sharing.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- High level attention to detail is essential.
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.

Pay
The expected salary range for this position is $70,000 to $100,000 and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate’s skills, experience, and working location, as well as the specific position’s business line, scope, and level.
