Senior Account Manager, Business Insurance

About the role

The Senior Account Manager on the Business Insurance team at Marsh McLennan Agency (MMA) is responsible for managing client relationships, providing coverage analysis, risk management recommendations, negotiating coverage and pricing with carriers, preparing proposals, and resolving billing issues. Additionally, you will mentor Client Service Associates to develop their policy-checking skills and coverage knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Manage relationships with clients, prospects, client teams, and producers to provide best-in-class service and drive growth.
• Provide coverage analysis, risk management recommendations, negotiate coverage and pricing with carriers, prepare proposals, and resolve billing issues.
• Mentor Client Service Associates by developing their policy-checking skills and coverage knowledge.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Business Insurance, Property & Casualty license (or ability to obtain in 90 days of employment).
• Insurance designations (i.e. INS, AAI, CISR) or demonstrated knowledge of Business Insurance coverages.
• Legal work authorization to work in the U.S. on a permanent and ongoing basis without the need for sponsorship now or in the future.

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelors degree preferred.
• Fleet Transportation experience a plus!
• Experience using Sagitta and ImageRight.
• Experience working towards CPCU, CIC, ARM, and/or AU designations or equivalent knowledge and ability.
