About the role

AWS Aerospace and Satellite team is seeking a Senior Account Manager with a proven track record of exceeding sales targets and driving customer engagement. This role requires a combination of sales and technical expertise to engage with CXO-level clients and software developers.

Responsibilities

  • A self-starter to manage the full sales cycle from initial inquiry to closing deals
  • Develop and execute comprehensive account and territory plans
  • Coordinate with the extended team to support account and territory plans
  • Create and articulate compelling value propositions around AWS services
  • Accelerate customer adoption and maintain a robust sales pipeline
  • Work with partners to extend reach and drive adoption
  • Manage contract negotiations and develop long-term strategic relationships
  • Ensure customer satisfaction

Requirements

  • 7+ years of direct sales or business development experience in software, cloud, or SaaS markets targeting C-level executives
  • Experience developing detailed go-to-market plans
  • Experience with government procurement and contracting processes
  • Preferred: Experience in the space industry

Qualifications

  • Basic: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or related field
  • PREFERRED: Advanced degree or relevant certifications

Pay

Base salary range: $142,800 - $193,200 annually
