About the role
AWS Aerospace and Satellite team is seeking a Senior Account Manager with a proven track record of exceeding sales targets and driving customer engagement. This role requires a combination of sales and technical expertise to engage with CXO-level clients and software developers.
Responsibilities
- A self-starter to manage the full sales cycle from initial inquiry to closing deals
- Develop and execute comprehensive account and territory plans
- Coordinate with the extended team to support account and territory plans
- Create and articulate compelling value propositions around AWS services
- Accelerate customer adoption and maintain a robust sales pipeline
- Work with partners to extend reach and drive adoption
- Manage contract negotiations and develop long-term strategic relationships
- Ensure customer satisfaction
Requirements
- 7+ years of direct sales or business development experience in software, cloud, or SaaS markets targeting C-level executives
- Experience developing detailed go-to-market plans
- Experience with government procurement and contracting processes
- Preferred: Experience in the space industry
Qualifications
- Basic: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or related field
- PREFERRED: Advanced degree or relevant certifications

Base salary range: $142,800 - $193,200 annually
