About the role

The AWS Aerospace and Satellite team is seeking an experienced Account Manager to drive sales and customer engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively manage the sales cycle from initial inquiry to closure
  • Develop and execute comprehensive account and territory plans
  • Coordinate with the extended team to support account and territory plans
  • Create and articulate compelling value propositions around AWS services
  • Accelerate customer adoption and maintain a robust sales pipeline
  • Manage contract negotiations and develop long-term strategic relationships
  • Ensure customer satisfaction

Requirements

  • 7+ years of direct sales or business development experience in software, cloud, or SaaS markets targeting C-level executives
  • Experience developing detailed go-to-market plans
  • Experience with government procurement and contracting processes
  • Preferred: Experience in the space industry

Qualifications

  • Experience driving engagement at the CXO level and with software developers and IT leaders
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-starter with the ability to meet or exceed revenue targets
  • Exceptionally strong and creative thinker with a team-oriented mindset
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Pay

Base salary range: $142,800.00 - $193,200.00 USD annually
