Senior Account Manager
Remote position based in the USA. Full-time role reporting to the Regional Vice President of Sales. Occasional travel up to 10% of the time.
About the role
As a Senior Account Manager at ProAg, you will serve as the initial point of contact for agency partners nationwide, managing relationships remotely. You’ll act as the primary source of ProAg and industry communication, helping agents navigate internal contacts for challenges, understanding underwriting procedures, and matching ProAg products to agents’ and insureds’ needs. This role involves efficiently responding to time-sensitive requests, answering questions, explaining decisions, and maintaining productive relationships to support department goals for profitability, renewal retention, revenue growth, and new business production. You’ll also serve as a knowledgeable resource for colleagues and use CRM tools to keep the team informed about agency relationships.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the main point of contact for agency partners, managing relationships remotely.
- Communicate ProAg and industry updates to agency partners.
- Direct agents to the appropriate internal contacts for challenges or questions.
- Understand and explain department underwriting procedures and ProAg products.
- Respond efficiently to time-sensitive requests from agents.
- Answer questions, explain decisions, and build productive relationships with agents.
- Support department goals for profitability, renewal retention, revenue growth, and new business production.
- Act as a resource for colleagues and maintain CRM records to track agency relationships.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Sales, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent education and/or experience.
- Experience in the crop insurance industry is preferred but not required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an emphasis on confidentiality, tact, and diplomacy.
- Exceptional organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Pay
The pay range for this position is $64,000 - $110,000, which includes geographic adjustments where applicable. The final offer will be based on the candidate’s geographic location, qualifications, work experience, education, and skill level.
