About the role

This role involves managing relationships with agency partners, providing communication, and assisting with departmental underwriting procedures. The role requires some travel up to 10% of the time.

Responsibilities

  • The initial point of contact for agency partners throughout the country.
  • Source of ProAg and industry communication for agency partners.
  • Help agents navigate to the best contact inside the ProAg team for challenges.
  • Understand department underwriting procedures.
  • Understand ProAg products and how they fit agents or insureds.
  • Efficiently and effectively respond to time-sensitive requests.
  • Communicate with agents to answer questions and explain decisions.
  • Build and maintain productive relationships with agents.
  • Aid the department in meeting annual company goals for profitability, renewal retention, revenue growth, and new business production.
  • Serve as a knowledgeable resource to colleagues and keep the organization informed about the nature of the relationship with the agencies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Sales, Marketing, or a related field, or the equivalent education and/or experience.
  • Experience in the crop insurance industry preferred, but not required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an emphasis on confidentiality, tact, and diplomacy.
  • Exceptional organizational and analytical skills, demonstrating the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Sales, Marketing, or a related field, or the equivalent education and/or experience.
  • Experience in the crop insurance industry preferred, but not required.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $64,000 - $110,000, which includes geographic adjustments, where applicable. The pay range is the range THMCC, in good faith, believes is the range of compensation for this role at the time of this posting. The hired applicant will be offered pay within the entire range based on the candidate’s geographic location, qualifications, work experience, education, and/or skill level.

Schedule

Full-time position with some travel up to 10% of the time.
