Join a dynamic team as an Account Manager, focusing on maintaining deep customer relationships to drive growth and account revenue retention for Asset Manager clients. Collaborate with internal partners to deliver exceptional service and valuable solutions within a defined book of business.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate deep understanding of customer decision-makers’ strategies, priorities, and needs.
- Maintain solid understanding of Refinitiv propositions to initiate conversations and raise interest.
- Build and embed long-term trusted advisor relationships with clients.
- Drive growth by expanding Refinitiv’s footprint within accounts.
- Focus on maintaining overall customer engagement and growing and retaining managed net revenue.
- Lead all aspects of commercial activities within accounts, responsible for the end-to-end customer relationship.
- Drive efficiency in account administration, especially for lower-value and growth-potential accounts.
- Handle internal and external partners to negotiate and close deals.
- Accountable for simple order-taking processes.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of customers, their business models, and workflows.
- Industry experience with Asset Managers.
- Strong product knowledge and relationship-building skills.
- Consultative selling skills: ability to identify, develop, and articulate complex propositions.
- Strong ability to influence clients and listen effectively.
- Ability to develop and implement sales plans and use technology proficiently.
- Problem-solving skills to understand, articulate, structure, and solve client needs.
- Presentation and communication skills: ability to deliver presentations and communicate at all organizational levels.
- Ability to collaborate with account teams.
- Significant work experience in the applicable industry and knowledge of customer workflows.
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.
- Customer relationship management experience at all organizational levels.
Qualifications
- University/college degree or equivalent work experience.
- Career stage: Manager.
- Strong account management, sales, or marketing experience in a customer-facing environment.
Pay
The anticipated base salary for this position is $120,000 - $200,000, with variations by geographic location, city, and state. This role is also eligible for a Variable Incentive Compensation plan, with target variable compensation commensurate with the posted career stage.
