Senior Account Manager

About the role
In this role, the Account Manager is responsible for maintaining deep customer relationships to drive growth and account revenue retention for Asset Manager clients. By collaborating with internal partners, you will deliver exceptional service and valuable solutions. The position manages a defined book of Asset Management business within a geography and is accountable for the commercial close of all deals. You will also identify larger solution opportunities and introduce Solution and Proposition Sales.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate deep understanding of the customer decision maker’s strategies, priorities, and needs
- Maintain solid understanding of Refinitiv propositions to initiate conversations and raise interest
- Build and embed a long-term trusted advisor relationship with clients
- Drive growth by expanding Refinitiv’s footprint within accounts
- Focus on maintaining overall customer engagement and growing and retaining managed net revenue
- Lead all aspects of commercial activities within accounts, being responsible for the end-to-end customer relationship
- Drive efficiency in account administration, especially for lower-value and growth-potential accounts
- Handle internal and external partners and maintain networks to negotiate terms with clients and close deals
- Be accountable and responsible for simple order taking
Requirements
- Strong understanding of customers and their business model and workflows
- Industry experience with Asset Managers
- Strong product knowledge
- Relationship-building skills
- Selling skills (ability to identify, develop, and articulate a complex proposition/consultative selling)
- Strong ability to influence clients
- Strong listening skills, ability to develop and implement a sales plan, and proficiency in using a variety of technology
- Problem-solving: ability to understand, articulate, structure, and solve client needs
- Presentation and communication skills: ability to deliver presentations and communicate at all levels within an organization
- Ability to collaborate with account team
- Significant work experience in the applicable industry and knowledge of customer workflow
- Interpersonal and collaboration skills
- Strong account management, sales, or marketing experience in a customer-facing environment
- Customer relationship management at all levels within an organization
Qualifications
- University/college degree or equivalent work experience

Pay
The anticipated base salary for this position is $120,000 - $200,000, with ranges varying by geographic location, city, and state. This role is also eligible for our Variable Incentive Compensation plan, with target variable compensation commensurate with the posted career stage. Individual salary will reflect job-related knowledge, skills, and equivalent experience.
