Job Summary

Own and manage a defined customer portfolio with full accountability for volume retention and expansion, gross profit, and margin performance.
Drive wallet-share growth across spot, contractual, and new service offerings.
Lead award onboarding and oversee post-award performance management.
Ensure awarded freight is operationally executable and aligned with margin expectations.
Act as the margin steward for the assigned portfolio.
Serve as the primary escalation point for customers and lead Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs).
Translate customer objectives into clear, actionable execution plans.
Collaborate closely with Sales, Procurement, Pricing, and Operations to ensure alignment and flawless execution.

Skills & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration preferred, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of account management experience in logistics or truckload brokerage.
  • Proven ability to manage and grow customer portfolios.
  • Strong understanding of truckload pricing and market dynamics.
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen.
  • Working proficiency in Microsoft Office, with basic to intermediate knowledge of Excel.
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
  • Able to collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Pricing, and Operations.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Qualifications

  • Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Required: 3+ years of account management experience in logistics or truckload brokerage.

  • Understanding of truckload pricing and market dynamics.
