About the role
The Senior Account Manager leads high-value and/or geographically diverse client accounts and is responsible for driving the strategic direction of client campaigns. This role involves managing complex projects and ensuring that client strategies are executed effectively to achieve business objectives.
Responsibilities
- As the key point of client contact, collaborate closely with internal and external teams to meet client objectives.
- Develop a deep understanding of clients' business objectives and develop strategic marketing plans that meet their needs.
- Build and maintain long-term client relationships and manage strategic interactions across key stakeholders.
- Provide strategic guidance to clients, identifying opportunities for growth and improvement in their marketing efforts.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform campaign strategies and identify new opportunities.
- Oversee the quality assurance process across all client deliverables.
- Lead compliance initiatives to meet both client and industry standards.
- Champion innovative approaches to client challenges.
- Monitor and report on campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations for optimization, with subject matter expert support.
- Create and execute account growth strategies for existing clients.
- Advocate for the needs and interests of clients within the agency, ensuring high-quality service delivery.
- Stay up to date on industry trends and changes in order to deliver additional value and strategic advice to clients.
Requirements
- A degree in marketing, communications, business or a similar field.
- Sufficient experience in account management within a marketing or advertising agency.
- Proven track record of successfully managing high-profile client accounts and delivering exceptional results.
- Significant project management experience and strong client relationship management skills.
- A strong understanding of marketing principles, digital marketing, and advertising strategies.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
- The ability to think strategically, solve problems, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- The ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong leadership skills and a passion and ability to mentor and develop team members.
- The ability to direct resources efficiently with strong commercial and financial skills.
