About the role

Melio is seeking a proactive and results-driven individual to join the Ultra High Value (UHV) team as an Associate Partner Manager. This role requires a unique blend of hunting for new partnerships and nurturing existing ones to grow Melio’s revenue share network.

Responsibilities

  • Possessing the ability to prospect and cold call potential partners to pitch a revenue-share opportunity.
  • Nurturing these relationships into productive communities over time.
  • Identifying and recruiting high-leverage affiliates such as Credit Card Points Consultants, Insurance Brokers, and Industry-Specific Consultants.
  • Pitching the “Business in a Box” concept to convince partners of the lucrative nature of referring their high-spend clients to Melio.
  • Experimenting with different verticals to find hidden gems among partners who have untapped influence.
  • Ensuring partners are set up for success through white-glove onboarding and technical enablement.
  • Managing and driving portfolio adoption, keeping affiliates engaged and excited through constant communication and value-add interactions.
  • Building deep, personal relationships with partners to ensure Melio remains their exclusive referral of choice.
  • Feeding insights back to growth and marketing teams to optimize the strategy.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of sales or partnership experience, preferably in roles requiring building a book of business from scratch.
  • A "Hunter-Farmer" hybrid mindset, combining aggressive cold calling with empathetic relationship management.
  • The ability to thrive in ambiguity and adapt quickly to new strategies and opportunities.
  • A genuine curiosity about various business models and how they can integrate with Melio’s Gross Profit revenue share model.
  • Proficiency in SalesForce, Outreach.io, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.

Qualifications

  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build trust and rapport with partners.
  • Experience in sales enablement and the ability to teach partners how to spot and pitch Melio opportunities.
  • An entrepreneurial spirit and a willingness to experiment and innovate.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills to manage multiple relationships and projects simultaneously.
