About the role
The ideal candidate is an experienced media technology sales leader with a proven track record selling enterprise broadcast solutions, developing strategic relationships with television station groups, and introducing innovative technology to the market.
Responsibilities
- Drive revenue growth for ImmersiCast™ and StoryTeller NewsPro across local television and broadcast media organizations
- Develop strategic relationships with station groups, news directors, chief meteorologists, and broadcast technology leaders
- Lead consultative sales efforts from prospecting through closing
- Present high-impact demonstrations of immersive augmented reality workflows and capabilities
- Collaborate with product, marketing, meteorology, and technology teams to support customer success
- Represent AccuWeather at industry events including NAB, IBC, and regional broadcast conferences
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in B2B sales, ideally in the media, broadcast, production, or technology space.
- Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales quotas and building long-term client relationships.
- Outstanding presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Strong self-starter with the ability to manage the full sales cycle independently.
- Must be able to travel up to 75%.
