Senior Account Executive, Influencer (Healthcare/Pharma)
About the role
The Senior Account Executive will serve as an influencer and social media specialist for FleishmanHillard's Health & Life Sciences practice. This role is designed for a passionate, proactive communications professional with growing communications, social media, and influencer strategy experience.
Responsibilities
- Execute best-in-class work across growing accounts and pharmaceutical or healthcare communications projects.
- Execute influencer relations strategies as part of larger integrated marketing communications programs, including online and offline activations.
- Work collaboratively with integrated teams across the firm to use influence to meet client objectives and grow revenue.
- Contribute meaningfully to client success within a supportive environment.
- Translate brand messages and complex information into creator-appropriate content and sharable social narratives.
- Manage the vetting, negotiation, and creative direction of influencers, ensuring alignment with client objectives.
- Collaborate with agency team, clients, and influencers/their agents to produce high-performing content.
- Understand and adhere to industry regulatory and promotional rules, providing sound counsel to clients and influencers.
- Manage the negotiation and contracting process to achieve the highest and best value exchange between client and influencer.
- Ensure the successful execution of paid social programs, including strategy development and optimization.
- Provide detailed analysis of performance metrics and optimize strategies accordingly.
- Build and maintain relationships with new and existing clients, demonstrating a natural ability to pitch new business.
Requirements
- A minimum of 3-4 years of integrated marketing and/or communications experience at an agency, focusing on healthcare, pharma, biotech, personal health, or related accounts.
- At least 1-2 years of hands-on influencer program strategy and execution experience.
- Proven success in end-to-end influencer relations, including hands-on experience in identification, vetting, negotiation, creative and content direction, relationship management, measurement, and analysis.
- Experience using various influencer vetting and reporting tools.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple project workflows, materials development, and client deliverables.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting, with excellent relationship skills, strong communication, and the ability to motivate and generate effective action from all levels of the organization.
- Understanding of integrated communications plans, including the role of owned, earned, and paid media.
- Experience in executing paid social programs, including strategy development and optimization.
