Senior Account Executive - Healthcare Marketing

About the Role
As a Senior Account Executive (SAE), you will interact with all departments and have client contact, offering opportunities to take on challenges and advance within the agency. You will serve as an internal team leader, ensuring all members of the brand and project team collaborate effectively to develop successful marketing communication programs and create strategies that resonate with payers.
Responsibilities
- Manage communications with team members regarding initial/ongoing information and status.
- Assist the Client Services team in supporting the development of new business initiatives and identifying opportunities for organic growth within your assigned account.
- Coordinate pitch presentations and request for proposals.
- Serve as the lead point of contact for assigned projects within the client account.
- Implement projects to promote and ensure the success and profitability of your client's deliverables.
- Support client services' efforts by managing projects, collaborating with the Project Management team to develop timelines, communicate milestones, and identify potential red flags.
- Drive the daily activities of a project by managing project scope, scope change, and potential roadblocks according to timeline and budgets.
- Coordinate and participate in content planning meetings with key content experts.
- Maintain daily client contact, prepare client contact reports, and summarize next steps.
- Facilitate the medical-legal-regulatory (MLR) review process to ensure promotional items adhere to compliance.
- Contribute to the creation of client proposals, budgets, and reconciliations; monitor budgets including direct/labor costs, checking for out-of-scope items and hours.
- Assist with financial and forecasting reporting preparation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Pharmaceutical agency experience is required with at least 2 years of combined experience in Accounts and Project Management.
- Experience with direct client contact.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Travel enabled (up to 5% expected).
- Proven teamwork skills and flexibility.
- Excellent verbal/written interpersonal skills and a positive attitude.
- Strong planning, organizing, and detail-oriented skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Communications experience in pharmaceutical, healthcare, or medical fields.
- Pharmaceutical experience including the MLR (medical-legal-regulatory) review process.
- Experience in writing Statements of Work (SOWs) and project briefs.
- Hands-on experience with clients’ online submission systems (e.g., Zinc or Veeva) for MLR reviews.
- Pharmaceutical drug launch experience.
- Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in marketing, communications, or advertising.

Pay
Reasonable estimate of the current compensation range: $67,000 USD - $93,000 USD.
