Location: NYC/East Coast
Work Arrangement: Hybrid (Located in the NYC HUB and in-person 2 days/week)

About the role

This Senior Account Executive will play a key role across a few critical pieces of business on our Corporate team. You’ll be part of the success of all client programming, getting hands-on with complex projects, and contributing ideas to new and growing clients. The Corporate team is made up of brand storytellers, where creativity thrives. We pride ourselves on challenging and delighting our clients and ourselves every day. Responsibilities

  • Serve as a strategic voice and account lead for the client
  • Assist in crafting media materials (media strategies, press releases, pitches, etc.) and review team's miscellaneous account needs (e.g. client notes, media lists, topical audits)
  • Drive media relations programs, from strategic oversight to helping the team brainstorm new angles and conducting media outreach, as well as leading proactive media efforts and heat moments for media coverage
  • Oversee account tracking/metrics and set performance standards for account teams
  • Responsible, in partnership with account leads, for team deliverables and all client communication (emails, Slacks, etc.)
  • Support client calls and internal meetings
  • Help oversee and review junior team members’ work and mentor them on best practices
  • Be a problem solver for the team
  • Maintain strong media connections or be willing to build new ones as needed
  • From time to time as needed, help participate in new business activities
  • Be a voracious consumer of corporate media, on the pulse of the most important business news of the day, and able to connect the dots to create opportunities for clients

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field
  • 4-5 years of experience in public relations or integrated communications (agency experience preferred)
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills with a keen eye for detail
  • Experience earning thought leadership placements in top-tier media and industry trades
  • Curiosity and the ability to quickly understand complex, technical material and make it compelling for media, including media savviness in corporate and B2B storytelling
  • Proven ability to prioritize, multitask, and manage multiple tight deadlines across accounts in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical skills for tracking campaign results
  • Proven track record of excellent client relationship management; experience being client-facing on agency teams, as applicable
  • Experience with media software and AI tools preferred
  • A solution-oriented and collaborative approach to all work, alongside an entrepreneurial and self-starter mindset
  • Demonstrated ability to work seamlessly both independently and collaboratively within a team environment

Pay

$66,000-$80,000/year

Schedule

Hybrid work arrangement requiring in-person presence 2 days per week (e.g., office, client site, industry events).
