About the Role
The Senior Account Executive (SAE) plays a lead role on their accounts, managing multiple projects and, in some cases, people. As emerging leaders and ambassadors of the firm, SAEs mentor and inspire junior team members and peers. All team members are expected to be strong collaborators, participating in brainstorms and creative strategy planning for clients and internal projects. We encourage entrepreneurial thinking, "unboxed" creativity, and clever, witty ideas.
Responsibilities
- Guide the team to maintain account infrastructure, including editorial calendars and media target lists.
- Demonstrate a keen understanding of the media landscape relevant to your client’s industries and how to reach key targets.
- Develop creative pitches for clients and oversee reporting and analysis of campaign results.
- Maintain and cultivate strong relationships with journalists covering your client’s industries.
- Draft press releases, announcements, fact sheets, bylines, blog posts, and other client materials with strong copy-editing and proofreading skills.
- Serve as a day-to-day client liaison, providing strategic counsel and recommendations for campaign execution.
- Identify project or cross-sell opportunities on accounts.
- Demonstrate expertise in your client’s businesses, industries, and competitors.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in public relations, communications, or a related field.
- B.S. in Public Relations, Communications, or a related field.
- Strong interest in financial services, professional services, technology, and/or B2B communications.
- Proficiency in Cision, Factiva, IQ Media, and Microsoft Suite.
- Strong project management skills, including overseeing team delivery of daily scans, reporting, meeting agendas, and timesheets.

Pay
The anticipated salary range for this position is $65,000–$75,000. Salary is determined by factors including experience, qualifications, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business needs.
