About the role

We are seeking an exceptional enterprise salesperson to drive our revenue growth. Ideal candidates will be selling to SaaS and service customers using Salesforce, partnering with Product Consultants and Finance Solutions Analysts to demonstrate Place’s value and ROI to prospective customers.

Responsibilities

  • Opportunity management and deal closure
  • Partnering with Product Consultants and Finance Solutions Analysts to demonstrate Place’s value and ROI to prospective customers
  • Collaborating with the BDR team and marketing team to generate a high-quality pipeline

Requirements

  • 5+ years total experience in a quota-carrying SaaS, with enterprise and fintech experience highly desirable
  • Experience in a quota-carrying role, responsible for meeting and exceeding a quarterly goal
  • Experience in evangelizing, communicating, building relationships, and recommending solutions to senior-level decision-makers and stakeholders
  • Applicable experience in “sell to a Finance audience” and business and/or finance processes and accounting expertise/knowledge
  • Drive performance through creativity, lead-by-example leadership, compelling communication, and inspiration
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills with the ability to build initial and sustained relationships with senior management, C-suite, and finance stakeholders
  • Live in a growth mindset, highly coachable, committed to building an understanding of the market, developing sales skills, and learning our products and process
  • Outstanding organizational, prioritization, and time management skills, very strong written and verbal communication skills

Qualifications

  • Experience working with Salesforce, EPM, ERP, or BI software

Skills

  • Curiosity and hunger to learn about Place and its value to customers
  • Understanding of how companies utilize financials to make business decisions and why existing processes are archaic
  • Ability to sell overall value without feature dumping
  • Able to anticipate client needs and prescribe clear next steps
  • Willingness to collaborate with peers while leading one’s own book of business
