Senior Account Executive

About the role
Black Flower Agency, a NYC-based experiential marketing and events agency and a key United States business unit of MCI Group, is seeking a highly organized, energetic, and hospitality-experienced self-starter with a strong understanding of hospitality, events, and the luxury lifestyle sector for a Senior Account Executive role. This position will work with a team delivering loyalty marketing programs and activations that provide exclusive premium experiences to brands' most VIP consumers across sports, entertainment, fashion, art, and wellness. The role may also assist with luxury hospitality event and logistics management at large-scale activations, as well as general administrative and office duties.
Hybrid work arrangement.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate in planning and executing high-end experiential activations, from intimate to broadscale, focusing on sports, entertainment, fashion, art, and wellness.
- Develop and build creative presentations and client pitches alongside senior management, using templates and creating custom materials.
- Provide comprehensive support to the experiential account team, including research, meeting agendas, recap notes, event data collection, ticket sales & revenue tracking, status reports, and supply inventory organization.
- Manage key documents and event collateral: hospitality decks, transportation spreadsheets, production reports, activity trackers, training documents, guest lists, itineraries, invitations, signage, menu and seating cards, tickets, and event recaps.
- Communicate with key partners and vendors (hotels, transportation companies, restaurants, venues, staffing agencies) to ensure seamless event execution.
- Manage creative submissions and marketing timelines through the approval process, adhering to brand rules and regulations.
- Assist with financial processes, including budget tracking, reconciliation, coding expenses, submitting invoices, and facilitating payments.
- Participate in client conference calls and in-person meetings.
- Provide on-site event management, ensuring impeccable service and adherence to best practices.
- Monitor and research industry trends, innovations, and competitive landscape; provide recommendations for improvements or opportunities.
- Maintain knowledge of agency structure, functions, offerings, mission, and vision.
- Establish effective relationships across agency multi-disciplinary teams.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- 4+ years of relevant professional experience (in addition to internships).
- Strong presentation and deck creation skills (Canva, Google Slides, PowerPoint).
- Passion for events, hospitality, luxury lifestyle sectors, and digital marketing/strategic communications. Interest or knowledge in luxury fashion, culture, entertainment, wellness, or sports is a plus.
- Client and high-net-worth individual-facing role requiring strong hospitality skills.
- Ability to interact collaboratively and solve problems creatively.
- Willingness to travel and work nights/weekends as needed.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Mac, Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint), Photoshop and/or InDesign, and Canva/Google Slides.
- Keen eye for detail and passion for accuracy and quality.
- Polished, professional demeanor with confidence and enthusiasm for the business.
- Extremely organized and thorough.

Pay
$70,000–74,000 annually, based on relevant experience and skills.
