Senior Account Executive
About the Role & Team
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Senior Account Executive to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing high-growth potential accounts and partnering with our vertical teams on financial tech vendors. This role focuses on delivering results to the company and the best possible customer experience to our valued clients. You will work closely with our product teams to deliver customized market intelligence solutions that meet unique client needs, driving opportunities forward from discovery to closure.
100% remote work in the US – Hybrid available in the Boston area.
Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities with existing clients in IT across all IDC product lines.
- Deliver the best possible customer experience to our clients daily.
- Develop and manage a pipeline of existing accounts to maintain and expand the current revenue base.
- Understand client needs and challenges and match them with appropriate research solutions from IDC.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers.
- Meet or exceed sales targets, KPIs, and performance metrics.
- Maintain detailed records of sales activities and accurate forecasting in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce).
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in B2B sales, account management, or business development.
- Strong understanding of value-based selling.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple client accounts and prioritize effectively.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Experience using CRM platforms and sales enablement tools.

Pay
At IDC, we are committed to fair and equitable pay practices. Employees are compensated equitably for their work, aligned with their skills and experience. The expected total annual compensation, depending on location and experience, is between $145,000 - $150,000, inclusive of base salary and variable compensation.
