Senior Account Executive, Air Force
About the role
We are looking for experienced sales professionals who have met their sales targets in the past to assist us in expanding our customer base in the Department of War community. Your duties will involve acquiring new accounts and generating new business in existing ones. Your sales territory will be concentrated on the U.S. Air Force.
Responsibilities
- Achieve sales targets and expand customer base in the Department of War community.
- Acquire new accounts and generate new business in existing ones.
- Assess customer business problems and drive them towards investment via successful contract execution.
- Lead and empower a large matrix team of sales support roles to execute your sales strategies and tactics.
- Drive the US Air Force acquisition community with prior experience.
Requirements
- Experience in complex sales to the US Air Force or other DoD agencies.
- Expert knowledge of the US Air Force acquisition community.
- Geographic preference is the Washington, D.C. metro area, but open to other markets.
Qualifications
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage a large team and delegate tasks effectively.
Skills
- Sales experience in the defense industry.
- Knowledge of US Air Force acquisition processes.

Pay
The typical base salary range for this position is $141,550 - $214,400 annually. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.
