Senior ABM Marketing Manager

Datadog · Boston, MA · 1 wk ago
Hybrid$125k–$167k/yrFull-time

Datadog is seeking an experienced Senior Account Based Marketing Manager to drive new customer acquisition and pipeline generation across the Americas (North America and LATAM), with a focus on the Commercial (SMB) segment.

About the role

In this role, you will design and execute an integrated, multi-channel marketing account-based marketing strategy, spanning paid search, paid social, dedicated field programs, sponsored events, and third-party digital channels, in close partnership with sales leadership. This is a full-funnel, cross-channel mandate, with the latitude to prioritize the channels and programs that deliver the greatest impact. The role operates in a hybrid workplace model.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive, multi-channel marketing strategy to drive pipeline growth across the Americas, leveraging sponsored events, paid search, paid social, field-led programs, third-party digital placements, and more.
  • Support the design and execution of 1:many, 1:few, and 1:1 ABX marketing programs for the Commercial (Small and Midsize Business) segment, combining digital tactics (e.g., paid social, programmatic display) with dedicated field plays (e.g., direct mail) to break into and expand high-value accounts.
  • Serve as both strategist and operator for the region: help define the marketing plan and lead execution across paid media, field marketing, and event teams.
  • Architect the operating model and playbooks for dedicated programs and partner with cross-functional marketing teams to execute where regional support is needed, maintaining consistent quality and cadence across the Americas.
  • Establish the reporting and measurement framework needed to evaluate program and channel performance, refining the strategy based on results.
  • Maintain flexibility across channels and programs, prioritizing the tactics that deliver the greatest pipeline impact rather than adhering to a single fixed strategy.
  • Demonstrate strong executive presence, partnering closely with sales leadership and cross-functional marketing teams to align on goals and execution.

Requirements

  • 9+ years of experience in demand generation, field marketing, or growth marketing, ideally within B2B SaaS, with a demonstrated track record of driving pipeline or opportunity growth for a segment, region, or business unit.
  • 2+ years of experience running account-based marketing programs.
  • Seasoned marketing professional capable of building a channel strategy from the ground up, with a strong understanding of sales process and goals and a track record of close sales-marketing collaboration.
  • Strong working knowledge of paid media, with the ability to direct strategy and evaluate performance across channels.
  • Proven experience planning and executing marketing events, including dedicated program series, executive forums, and sponsored or third-party events.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to influence stakeholders and drive alignment across sales and marketing functions.
  • Experience with CRM platforms (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.), advertising platforms, ABM platforms (Demandbase, 6Sense, Terminus, etc.), and marketing attribution tooling.

Benefits

  • Generous and competitive benefits package
  • New hire stock equity (RSUs) and employee stock purchase plan
  • Continuous career development and pathing opportunities
  • Employee-focused best-in-class onboarding
  • Internal mentor and cross-departmental buddy program
  • Friendly and inclusive workplace culture
  • Healthcare, dental, parental planning, and mental health benefits
  • 401(k) plan and match
  • Paid time off
  • Fitness reimbursements
  • Discounted employee stock purchase plan

Pay

The reasonably estimated yearly salary for this role at Datadog is $125,000—$167,000 USD.
