Semiconductor Maintenance Technician – Etch PM Machinist

Responsibilities

• Perform tool recoveries, cleaning and rebuilding of chambers and subcomponents.
• Support the CHD FAB Etch maintenance team.
• Traverse and troubleshoot electrical, electronic, pneumatic, vacuum, and mechanical systems.
• Schedule and perform maintenance, consumable changes, and other relevant activities.
• Interface with internal and external groups to ensure safety, performance, and reliability requirements are met.
• Document work and train others on related tasks.
• Work independently for extended periods, focusing on quality and efficiency.
• Communicate effectively using both written and verbal skills.
• Stand for long periods of time (up to 12 hours).
• Perform tasks that may include stooping, crawling in confined spaces, and lifting/carrying objects up to 50 pounds.
• Work compressed shifts, including night shifts.

The desired candidate should have a solid understanding of 5S and demonstrate problem-solving skills. The position requires the ability to interface with other internal and external groups to ensure all safety, performance, and reliability requirements are satisfied. The desired candidate will be required to complete documentation and may train others on related tasks. The candidate should be self-driven and capable of working independently for extended periods of time, focusing on quality and efficiency, in order to achieve First Time Right and Duration goals for PM completion.
