About the role

The candidate(s) selected will be responsible for performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance in Chandler Fab Etch equipment area.

Responsibilities

  • Effectively execute tasks required to maintain toolsets including Applied Materials Centura MxP/MxP+/SuperE, Applied Materials DPS, DPS II LAM 4420/4520i, ULVAC Enviro II, Optima Gasonics 3500 & PEP 3510 Ashers, Axcelis/Fusion Gemini DUV, Photostabilizers, Applied Materials Metals Endura 5500’s and Centura 5200’s.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical and electronic systems, pneumatic, vacuum, and mechanical systems.
  • Schedule and perform maintenance, consumable changes, and other relevant activities.
  • Demonstrate problem-solving skills and understand SPC, 5s, FDC systems.
  • Interface with other internal and external groups to ensure safety, performance, and reliability requirements are met.
  • Complete documentation and train others.
  • Communicate effectively using both written and verbal skills.
  • Be physically capable of standing for long periods (up to 12 hours), stooping, crawling in confined spaces, and lifting/carrying objects up to 50 pounds.
  • Work compressed shifts, job openings available on either days or nights.

Requirements

  • A solid understanding of SPC, 5s, FDC systems.
  • Problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to interface with other internal and external groups.
  • Documentation and training capabilities.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Physical capability to stand for long periods, stoop, crawl, and lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Compressed shift work availability.

Qualifications

  • AA, AS, AAS in electronics or other industrial engineering related discipline preferred.
  • Experience or military training may satisfy formal education requirements.
  • Specific knowledge of semiconductor maintenance job functions required.
