About the role
The candidate(s) selected will be responsible for performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance in Chandler Fab Cleans/Diffusion equipment area.
Responsibilities
- Effectively execute tasks required to maintain toolsets within the following tool groups: Diffusion SVG VTR 7000 Furnace TEA Alpha-8 Furnace SVG AVP 8000 Furnace Lumonics WaferMark Laser Scribe TEL α-858 Furnace TEL WAVES Furnace Leak detectors Various supporting metrology equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical and electronic systems, pneumatic and mechanical systems, scheduled maintenance, consumable changes, and various other activities relevant to the success of the area.
- Demonstrate problem-solving skills by understanding and applying SPC, 5s, FDC systems.
- Interface with other internal and external groups to ensure all safety, performance, and reliability requirements are satisfied.
- Understand and follow all safety protocols when working around hazardous chemicals.
- Complete documentation and train others.
- Communicate effectively using written and verbal skills, stand for long periods of time (up to 12 hours), and be physically able to perform required tasks which may include stooping, crawling in confined spaces, and lift/carry objects up to 50 pounds.
- Work in a high-volume manufacturing environment and sustain equipment with minimal direction.
- Solve complex problems on Semiconductor toolsets using root-cause problem-solving techniques.
Requirements
- A solid understanding of SPC, 5s, FDC systems.
- Ability to interface with other internal and external groups.
- Understanding and following all safety protocols.
- Effective communication skills.
- Physical ability to perform required tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
- Problem-solving skills.
Qualifications
- Education: AA, AS, AAS in electronics or other mechanical discipline preferred.
- Experience or military training may satisfy formal education requirements.
